Memorial Day

Here in the United States, today marks the observance of Memorial Day. This is a day many view as a vacation from work, a day to enjoy cookouts. But today is so much more than that. Memorial Day is a day to honor those who have served their country.

So today, I say thank you to everyone who is currently serving in the military.

Thank you to everyone who has served in the past.

Thank you to the families who make great sacrifices for their loved ones in uniform.

And thank you to those who have made the greatest sacrifice of all for their country.

You will not be forgotten.

  1. My sister’s husband is over there once again. Her prayer is that it’s a boring trip. I ask yu to pray for them.
